I picked up this amazing Abi Ferrin skirt two weeks ago at Elements while shopping for fashion week. While I didn’t end up wearing it in NYC, I’m already conjuring up a variety of ensemble ideas for fall. The fabric flows like nothing I’ve ever seen - it honestly feels like I’m swishing through clouds all day.

Dress it down in summer with sandals and a tank, but for fall I plan to wear it with everything from capes to turtlenecks. This skirt is flexible in more ways than one.

I first tried this salad at dinner during fashion week and decided I had to replicate it. It’s one of the few salads I’ve been able to actually eat as a meal (because who ever got full from eating a bunch of lettuce?)

This salad has lots of things I love: parmesan, prosciutto and artichoke hearts. The dressing is light and refreshing so it doesn’t taste like the arugula is wilted down as in other recipes. It’s seriously one of the easiest recipes I’ve thrown together, and the fresh grilled artichoke hearts from Central Market make it that much quicker to make.

In a large bowl, combine one whole package of Arugula with lemon juice and olive oil (up to you how much you want to put in, but the less you do, the lighter it is). Once you’ve gotten all of the Arugula covered, place it on a plate. Microwave the fresh artichoke hearts for 1-2 minutes or until warm. Once heated, pour out the artichokes over the Arugula. Top the salad with several torn pieces of prosciutto (I tend to use it judiciously). Finally, sprinkle with freshly grated parmesan

You must try this recipe - easy to make and super delicious!!

With my Argentina trip right around the corner, I decided to invest in a particularly wild piece for fall. I know not everyone likes real fur, but I had to share because this Proenza Schouler clutch is just too good.

It’s such a great statement piece and seeing as I’m a Texas girl at heart (and enjoy the occasional hunting trip), I had to take the plunge.

Unfortunately it sold out almost immediately following my purchase - BUT, there is a black version available here. Get it before it’s gone!

I am finally breaking in my Miu Miu smoking slippers! Turns out they go with everything (because what outfit doesn’t need a sparkly heel). I’ve also been getting a lot of use out of my J Brand leather shorts and ASOS peplum tee. Both great year-round basics!
